Tip #1: Taking better pictures may improve the quality of your @ctor (the ‘Digital You’)
October 22, 2008

The process of taking good pictures to create your @ctor is potentially the only difficult step when getting started on BigStage.com.  Detailed instructions are positioned throughout the registration process, but we do recommend that you watch the included video tutorial in its entirety.  You might also view the photo taking quick guide.  By following these instructions, you should be well on your way.  Key points to remember are:

  • Use a standard digital camera with flash turned on (no webcams please – they won’t work)
  • Try to take pictures in better lighting conditions (good/natural light) while still using your flash
  • Be sure to remove anything that covers your face, including eyeglasses and pulling back any hair that may be hanging over your forehead
  • Keep a neutral face when taking the pictures (don’t smile)
  • After you take your pictures (all 3 without pause), double check to make sure they look similar to the examples listed below

From here, just transfer the resulting images to your computer and upload them.  Should only take us about a minute to create the 'digital you.'

Voila and Happy Birthday!  Your @ctor has been born and is now ready for action.
